I've just been down to Santa Monica for a walk in the sunshine with our yellow Labrador Cooper and I couldn't help but share with you this gorgeous new object of his affection.
Her name is Rosie and she's a four month old white-haired Labrador and isn't she such a cutie?
Cooper has a real thing for white-haired Labs, Libby and Sam in our local neighbourhood to name but two, so he went bananas for this beautiful specimen.
They played like crazy in Palisades Park (like only Labradors can), wearing each other out to their owners delight. I was amazed at how developed Rosie was, she seemed to be almost full grown, with classic Labrador features and not the puppy that Cooper was at four months.
To prove my point, here's a picture of him at the same age in the same park in Santa Monica. He seems tiny by comparison, but it didn't take long for him to grow up into a big strong boy, although he's still just a puppy at heart.
