In anticipation that the 2009 West Hollywood Gay Pride Parade is nearly upon us (this coming Sunday), I thought it would be fun to take a look back at last year's fabulousness.
And now that we don't have the right to marry in California at the moment, it's even more important that we're visible, so that people can remember what a large, vibrant and diverse community we are.
Plus it also reminds folks that we are all someone's sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, uncles, aunts, friends, family, neighbours, co-workers, teammates, doctors, lawyers, soldiers, teachers... you get the idea.
Enjoy...
The boys...
The carnival spirit...
The colourful characters...
The pride...
The entertainment...
The joy...
The sights...
The creativity...
The acceptance...
The West Hollywood hunks...
The celebration...
The spectacle...
The diversity...
The peaceful, friendly atmosphere of respect...
The drama...
The energy...
The eye candy...
The gayest show on earth...
The fun, love and sense of belonging...
Put the champagne on ice and get ready to celebrate with pride and gay abandon...
