First up today are three rather unconventional angels adorning a painted wall mural on corner of La Jolla and Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.
This street art graffiti depicts the angels as eagle-like birds with fiery blue halos, but as they say angels come in many forms, colours and sizes, and they are usually winged.
My other angel sighting today comes from Downtown L.A. at the Roman Catholic Cathedral of our Lady of Angels at 555 West Temple Street.
These shots of etched-glass window angels were taken from the 101 Freeway as you drive past the Cathedral.
These heavenly sightings join the ranks of the angels along Beverly Boulevard and outside The Beverly Center on La Cienega Blvd, plus the painted fiberglass angels at The Farmers Market on 3rd and Fairfax and at Universal CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood.
I've also heard rumours of more angel sightings in Santa Monica and I even spied some cherubic statues at The Abbey of all places the other day (in this instance a bar, not your typical religious place of worship), so I'm sure it won't be long before they join my heavenly host from around this City of Angels.
Let the Angel Quest continue....
